Selena Gomez Is Getting Her Own Autobiographical Series
It was just announced that Selena Gomez is set to executive produce an autobiographical drama TV series for Lifetime, according to Deadline.
The 23-year-old singer and actress is joining forces with Kevin Spacey for the scripted drama inspired by her life experiences, that has been in the works since 2014.
It will follow her and her tight inner circle of friends as she navigates a career and life in Los Angeles as a young actress.
The show is already drawing parallels to HBO’s series Entourage, which was inspired by executive producer Mark Wahlberg‘s life as a up and coming actor in Hollywood.
Selena is also currently executive producing Netflix’s upcoming series 13 Reasons Why, as well as a Latina Empire drama that’s in development at Freeform
